First City's P.A.S.T.
(Performers and Story Tellers)

Live History that Entertains and Teaches
Characters from our Past
Leavenworth, Kansas' Historic Performing Group, known as P.A.S.T. or Performers and Story Tellers, stands ready to provide audiences with entertaining historical performances as various characters in the first person. Imagine what it would be like to hear and watch history come alive in a manner that is not boring but filled with interesting and funny facts from that character's life. Our audiences learn both about our characters, the timeframes during which they lived, and what it was like to live back then. Oh, if you're new to Kansas History, Leavenworth was our state's first city, incorporated in 1854. Hence, our name: First City's P.A.S.T.
This site will explain our approach, our preparation, our fees and expenses, and what it takes to do what we do. If your community, library, school system, or organization needs one, two, or any and all of us, this site explains how to contact and book us. If you represent a school or a group of home schoolers, you should know we focus our performances toward satisfying Kansas Department of Education curricula requirements.
